Wherever you happen to be as you read this, I hope all is going well. We are getting back into the swing of things here in Kathmandu, this time as a family of four! The newest addition to our family was born December 21st, just in time for Christmas with our family. Everything went well and we were grateful for the opportunity to be with family for that time. Now that we are back, we are looking forward to the new season ahead.
Today marks the one year anniversary of the date we broke ground on the Pottery House property! Most of that last year was spent building, getting the space ready to use, and getting the business registered legally. We are so grateful for all the help, donations and prayer that have made this possible. Now that the workshop is functional (for more pictures and details, see our last blog post), we are going into the next phase and will be working to see the business take shape. This is new ground for us and we have a lot to learn, but our goal is that God will use this space to bless and transform lives.
We still have a long way to go to meet the required financial investment to satisfy Nepali laws for foreigners to start a business. We still have about a year and a half to meet our goal. The next item we are praying for is a vehicle. This will greatly help the business as well as our growing family! We will need about $10,000 for a decent second-hand vehicle. You'll see below what we can do with our Honda Unicorn, imagine what we could do with a van! Please join us in praying for the provision for a vehicle.
We really need heaven to break through into all of Nepal and we're especially praying for strategy in our little piece of that puzzle, the Pottery House. So many people here are fighting to be free from addiction. We want to help them stay free and we need a heavenly strategy to do so. We're looking forward to deeper relationships with those who come to learn and create and praying that they quickly find total and lasting freedom. Please continue to pray for us and our friends here. We're excited to share stories of changed lives!
