Since the massive earthquake that hit Nepal in April, we have been quite busy. Here is a brief overview of what we have been up to!
I have been spending most of my time in a village 65km outside of Kathmandu. We have been helping with relief efforts this area for the past 4 months. We have been helping to tear down broken houses to help them prepare to rebuild in the near future. We have also been working to install a bandsaw that will help with rebuilding as well as bless the village with something that will stay with them long after we leave. Our camp has become like a second home for me as I have been spending so much time there. It has been a great experience to not only help with the relief work, pray with the people, or share the gospel, but to live among them and share our lives with them. Below are a few pictures and videos from the past few months to give you a glimpse of what I've been up to in the village.
In Kathmandu we still have all of our other ministries going as well. The kids home, the Banquet House, the Iris Children's School, and Gwen's work with Beauty for Ashes. I hope to put up more frequent pictures and stories from these ministries soon. So much has happened and we have so many countless stories of God's love and power touching and changing lives. For now I wanted to give a brief update and share some pictures, but you can look forward to more to come in the near future!
Thanks for taking the time to stay connected with us! We love to keep in touch with you all, let us know how you are doing!
