This video was taken just minutes before the earthquake hit. The place was shaken, but nobody in the building was hurt.
Here are some photos from the last few days:
As I am sure you have heard, there was a massive 7.9 earthquake that hit Nepal on Saturday. Thousands died and many more have been displaced. Everyone here has been affected. People have been saying that during this time, even the rich sleep on the streets. We have spent the last few days making food and praying with people. In the near future we hope to be able to get to some villages that have a lot less support. Monsoon season is just almost here and we would like to do as much as we can before the weather makes things much more difficult.
There is a major need for water, food, shelter, and organization, and we are all doing what we can to help on those fronts. But beyond those things, we have also doing what we can to spread hope, joy, love, and peace. The first day after the quake many would not come get the food we had prepared, saying that they were afraid they might die on the way. I believe that spreading things like hope and comfort are just as needed as all the physical needs. We believe that even in the midst of this crisis, God will work all things for the good of those who love Him. And we strive to reflect His heart and love to those in need and to destroy the spirit of fear that permeates Nepal right now with genuine love and hope.
Please pray for supernatural joy, energy, and hope to fill us during this crisis.

"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Psalm 34:18
